Wyvern is a popular 11-16 school providing high-quality teaching in a creative, vibrant and welcoming environment. Our high standards are reflected in a broad and challenging curriculum that supports the needs of individual learners. We encourage students of all abilities to advance from one academic target to the next and our staff display an unrivalled dedication to the individual child, with both academic and pastoral issues taking equal priority. Investment in resources is high and facilities are continually improved.
The college offers an impressive range of extra-curricular activities. Our Music Department has a dazzling array of bands, groups and choirs; the PE department coach numerous sporting teams; and college drama productions are enormously popular. Educational visits are a continual part of learning at Wyvern with a wide range of experiences available in this country and abroad.
If you would like to find out more, our annual Open Evening for Year 6 parents and pupils is on Thursday 22 September 2016 at 6.30pm. Additionally, a number of escorted Admission Tours are scheduled during the day during September and October, so that you can see the college in action.
