Wyvern College were delighted to be asked by the Parish Council, to contribute to the Jubilee Time Capsule, that was buried on Knowle Park on Saturday 5th June as part of their Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The week before the event, senior prefects Diana and Kye, gathered together lots of items that capture life in our college.

They were joined by fellow prefects, Hope, Jayden, Esmee and Millie, and our headteacher, Mr Rule – at the burial ceremony – where they took up the spade and helped with the dig. There were representatives from all over our community – amongst them many of our local councillors, whose chair, Helen Douglas, is also the Chair of our Members Committee.

We send our thanks to the Parish for Council for inviting us to be part of this very special occasion. It will be fascinating to see what our community of the future make of what has been left by the community of today.
