Lucy, one of our Year 11 students had the lovely idea of Wyvern Students writing cards that could be given to people living in shelters in Winchester and Eastleigh this Christmas. Year 11 were shown a presentations from Lucy that highlighted some very sobering facts about the the figures for homeless households, which are projected to rise from 230,00  in 2022 to 350,00 in 2041.

On Wednesday Lucy, Ben, Iza, Millie, Liv, Mackayla, Hope, Emily, Amelia, Mollie, Katie, Julia, Mrs Mbulo and Mrs Tyler came together and wrote 100 cards to go to two shelters.

We hope that the cards we have sent will bring some cheer to people facing a really challenging time in their lives.
