Congratulations to a brilliant team of Wyvern Students who took part in the Junior Chef Programme at Eastleigh College.
Students had to attend for 6 weeks, where they learnt about kitchen and cooking skills in a catering style kitchen. They worked alongside students from other local schools and with the expert eye of the catering tutors at the College. This was then ended with a celebratory meal, cooked, prepared and served by them to family and their Food teachers. We were served a lovely Christmas themed meal of Parma ham and melon, a take on a Christmas dinner, and pavlova or a Bailey’s a white chocolate cheesecake.
It was an excellent evening to end the term.
There are still spaces left on the course for this year if anyone is interested in joining in.
