Eleven students from Year 10 visited St Hilda’s College at the University of Oxford. As part of the day students learnt about university and the process of applying, life as an Oxford student, a question-and-answer session with four current Oxford students and had a tour of the campus. This was then followed by lunch in the St Hilda’s dining hall and the day finished with a very informative academic taster session with an Oxford tutor, where our students used their extensive medicine in history knowledge to answer questions – The St Hilda’s staff were very impressed with our students and are looking forward to meeting them again when they move onto their Post 16 colleges.
