Wyvern students outperform students locally, regionally and nationally, gaining higher grades and making better progress.

Attainment: The Actual Grades Students Get

Attainment is above national averages and also improving year-on-year. From the strong performance in 2018, there was a significant improvement in results in all subjects at all levels in 2019 and then again, with record results in 2020. Below are the 2021 results. The 2019 results are also included as due to the disruption in examination caused the the Covid pandemic – they are the last published by the Department of Education.

Progress: How Much Higher Student Grades Are Than What Year 6 Results Suggest

The government did not publish progress data for 2020 as it was not able to compare students’ progress in different schools due to Covid. The last set of progress data is from 2019. These measures show how far students in the college improve upon the GCSE grades that their end of KS2 SATs results suggest they should achieve.
