Wyvern College has some great facilities that are available for hire to the local community.

If up are looking to play sport, organise a training event or host a party, Wyvern is an excellent choice making an excellent, affordable venue for all.

We have a range of facilities which can be booked to suit your specific needs. Hire charges vary for each facility.

All facilities are available for hire from 5pm weekdays, weekends and school holidays.

Venue Descriptions

All Weather Pitch (AWP)

Floodlit multi use game area, mainly used for football, however can be used for a number of other sports. Goal posts available.

Athletics J-Track

200 metre track, 8 lanes, synthetic athletics track
1 long jump pit
1 infield shot circle

Open throughout the year and hosts to Southampton Athletics Club, Hedge End Running Club and Eastleigh Running Club.

Dance Studio

This modern facility with wooden sprung floor, equipped with sound system is ideal for:-

• Dance • Yoga • Martial Arts • Fitness Classes • Pilates • Tai chi

Mirrors, 3 double doors, approx 16.6 x 13.5m.

Our modern dance studio can convert to a multi functional room with 146 tiered seats ideal for:

• Conferences • Seminars • Meetings • Shows

Built in projector and screen. NB the floor area is reduced to approx half the size when the seating is set up.

Gym

Suitable for a variety of uses including:-

• Volleyball • Gymnastics • Netball • Fitness • Basketball • Judo • Tae Kwondo

Wooden floor, 18.1 x 13.1m

Main College Hall

Suitable for a variety of uses including:-

• Productions • Dance • Presentations • Meetings • Parties • Conferences • Concerts

Wooden floor, seating capacity 250, stage, projector, screen, lighting and PA system.

Rooms throughout the college

We also have various rooms throughout the school including a conference room, music practice rooms, drama studios, cookery kitchens and classrooms with projectors and interactive boards.

Sports Fields

Suitable for team games.

Lower field has grass track during the summer term
