Wyvern College Results 2025

Wyvern students and staff are celebrating another set of good GCSE exam results. Pass rates for good grades (4-9) and strong grades (5-9) are once again above the national averages. Performance was especially strong in all 5 of the subjects that make up the government’s gold standard EBACC curriculum. 75% of students achieved a good pass in English; and 75% on Maths. The government’s gold standard of outstanding achievement is the Ebacc (strong passes in each of the qualifications for English, Maths, two Sciences, a humanities subject and a modern foreign language). The proportion of students gaining strong passes in all of these subjects is 35% - well above the national average of 19%. Reflecting the very high standards at the college.

We congratulate all our students at all grade levels. Wyvern’s head teacher, Ben Rule said, “GCSE results day is always a special occasion for our students. We believe their good results, especially in all of the core academic subjects, prepares them well for sixth form college, for work work based training and the opportunities that lie beyond these. We wish them well in these”

He also thanked staff for helping students achieve so well, “Wyvern staff have are so committed to their students. Their dedication and determination to provide catch up sessions, online lessons, remote learning and revision masterclasses goes well beyond what they are paid to do.”
