What can we offer our families
Nursery
Hatchlings Childcare nursery can welcome children from the age of three months we are open Monday to Friday from 7.45 am until 6pm the nursery is open 51 weeks of the year with a week’s closure over the Christmas and new year period. We also have an Inset day once a year when we will close for our Mandatory staff training and personal development. We endeavour to give our families as much notice as possible the date of our planned closure.
Hatchlings nursery offers childcare to support busy families; we can offer government funded sessions to our eligible families to help make high-quality Childcare and early years education more accessible. Our ethos here at Hatchlings Childcare is to prepare the children for the journey ahead of them and school readiness please refer to our curriculum under the ‘our setting’ section here on the website to explore our aspirations and how these are nurtured throughout the nursery for all ages and stages of development, with our on-site Sendco readily available to offer support and guidance if required.

Pre-school
Our term-time only pre-school Dragons Nest, is open from 9:00am to 3:00pm, with the opportunity to access extended hours with us opening at 8.30am and closing at 3.30pm (more information can be found in our opening hours under the information section of the website)

Wraparound care
At Hatchlings Childcare we provide a safe, happy, friendly, and well-supervised environment where children can play, learn, and develop within our Ofsted-registered wraparound care, (Ofsted Registration No. EY490565).
Dragons After School Club runs from 3:25pm to 6:00pm Monday to Friday for children in YR of Fair Oak Infant School.
Children attending the After School Club are collected directly from the Infant School and safely escorted to the club on Hatchlings Childcare site by our staff. (directly adjacent to the school) All children attending Dragons after school club will be offered snack before having the opportunity to engage with a wide range of age-appropriate activities, including board games, arts and crafts, construction play, role play, and outdoor games.
We pride ourselves in providing an inclusive relaxed environment for the children to be able to unwind after their day at school and ensuring every child feels inspired, happy, and valued every day.
